« “I am just coming out of a difficult period, first because I was suffering from a contusion on my right knee, then I was suffering from covid. So I have not raced since the Roue Tourangelle on April 4th. That’s nearly as long as a winter break. I cannot wait to get back to racing, even if I am uncertain about how I will go. I am pleased to have started to train normally again, and to be able to participate in the training camp at Grand Bornand because you never really know how your body will react after getting covid. I know I may still have moments of unusual fatigue. For my return to racing, I will be there mostly to help Aurélien Paret Peintre, Ben O’Connor and Bob Jungels. I will then be contesting the GP Canton Aargau (June 4) then the Tour de Suisse (June 6-13). The timing is tight, but I hope I can be fit enough to be ready and chosen for the Tour de France (June 26 – July 18)..»NANS
