Tour du Finistère: A victory for Benoît Cosnefroy

Benoit Cosnefroy : « It’s so good »

“I have tears in my eyes, this victory feels really so good. I have had a very difficult season. Elite level sport is really just a succession of highs and lows, and to be able to succeed in coming back like this at a Coupe de France makes me very happy. It’s my tenth victory (the 6th in the Coupe de France), and I will really savor it.
The team did an exceptional job. Two days ago, Andrea showed us the way to win at the Giro, now it was up to us to string a few victories together. I hope this good momentum will continue in the coming days. I had fun today and
I hope it will continue to be the case again during the Boucles de la Mayenne (May 27-30) and the Tour de Suisse (June 6-13).”
